What Actually Comes to Light Behind Concealed Spaces at Masterson’s Bar and Pub ?

Masterson’s Lounge, nestled in the bustling area of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my latest trip at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I experienced behind its threshold was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.

The Condition of the Premises : Squalid and Neglected
From the moment I stepped inside , it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at this establishment . The floors were sticky , and a overpowering stench of uncleaned spills and neglected washrooms filled the entire establishment . With a smell of a mixture of excrement , decay and illness . The serving zone , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and debris that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. The toilet was in even a more revolting state — clogged , with a cracked flush mechanism and surfaces marked in what I can only assume was feces.

It wasn’t just a single bad experience either. From reading other reviews and talking to people around , it seems that the state of cleanliness (or lack thereof) at this so-called establishment is a well-known flaw .
